ABOUT Bhindi pakoda RECIPE

My uncle's bhajjis are a favourite of the whole family and this is one of them. Crispy okhras for the evening tea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bhindi - 1/2 kg
  2. Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  3. Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  4. Gram flour - 1 cup
  5. Salt
  6. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Cut bhindi into 2 lengthwise. Then cut into smaller pieces.
  2. Add chilli powder, salt and rice flour. Mix.
  3. Add gramflour as required. Just moisten lightly to bind. Do not add water.
  4. Give bhajji shape and fry in hot oil till brown.
  5. Serve with your favorite sauce or chutney.
