Veg pepper salt is the simplest ,quickest and delicious chinese snacks or side dish you may call

Veg pepper salt

Ingredients to make Veg pepper salt

  • Red capsicum - 1/2 (diagonal cut)
  • yellow capsicum - 1/2 (diagonal cut)
  • Green capsicum - 1/2 (diagonal cut)
  • baby corn - 7 to 8 (diagonal cut blanched)
  • carrot - 1/4 cup (diagonal cut blanched)
  • spring onions - 2 small
  • cauliflower - 1 small floret (blanched)
  • Beans - 1/4 cup (blanched)
  • salt to tàste
  • white pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • green chilly sauce - 1 tbsp
  • black peppercorns - 2 tsp (coarsely grinded)
  • water - 2 tbsp
  • cornflour - 1 tsp mix with 1 tbsp - water
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • garlic - 1 tsp

How to make Veg pepper salt

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic and stir fry briefly.
  2. Now add onion and capsicum and stir fry briefly. Now add all the vegetables.
  3. Add salt, white pepper, green chili, sauce, black pepper corns and water.
  4. Now saute for a minute. Add cornflour mixture and stir fry. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with spring onion greens. Serve Hot.

My Tip:

I personally garnish it with peanuts and sesame seeds wich gives it a nutty and chrunchy flavour also.
