Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Large Size Potato - 1
  2. Butter - 2 tbsp
  3. Thyme - 2 tsp
  4. Vegetable Broth - 2 cups
  5. Fettucine - 1 cup (cooked)
  6. Jalapenos Cheesy Sauce - 1/2 cup
  7. Sugar Sticks & Sauted Capsicum For Persentation

Instructions

  1. POTATO FONDANTS: Take a large size potato, peel the skin off, then give it a shape of cylinder, later smoothen the edges of the potato for best cooking result.
  2. Take a pan put a spoon of butter let the potato gain a crisp brown color on the bottom, reverse the potato so it becomes crispy from both the sides.
  3. Wipe off the extra butter with help of kitchen tissue.
  4. Drop some olive oil in the pan, the best flavour given is from fresh thyme. If not available dry thyme also works, then toss the potato well in this thyme and olive oil, then add some salt and fresh pepper.
  5. In the last step, add vegetable broth in the pan only to cover half of the potato and let this simmer and get cooked in slow flame for about 15 -20 minutes, can reverse the potato for quick cooking.
  6. Finally place the potato in the oven for about 20-30 minutes with the broth, check till it is absolutely tender.
  7. This potato can be served in several ways .... with fettuccine in jalapeño sauce or any other flavored sauce or with herb tossed bell peppers or also with tossed aubergine.
