    Ingredients to make Morroccan Orange Almond Cake

    • 150 gm almond powder/meal
    • 150 gm sugar
    • 2 oranges
    • 4 eggs
    • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

    How to make Morroccan Orange Almond Cake

    1. Cook 2 oranges in boiling water for two hours, changing water in every half hour
    2. When done, strain the oranges.Cool, cut & deseed it.
    3. Grease or line 6 inch baking pan.Preheat the oven for 10 mins at 190 degrees
    4. In a bowl, mix together sugar & egg
    5. Add in whole cooked oranges and crush with blender. See the picture
    6. Fold in almond flour and baking powder
    7. Pour the batter on a greased pan and bake at 190 degrees for 45 minutes
    8. Do the skewer test and remove from oven when done.
    9. Completely cool before unmoulding
    10. Sprinkle icing sugar before serving
