Hassleback Sweet Potato

Ingredients to make Hassleback Sweet Potato

  • Sweet potato - 1/2 kg
  • tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • olive oil - 1tbsp
  • salt - 1tbsp
  • red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
  • anardana Powder - 2 tbsp
  • lemon - 1
  • Oregano flakes (Optional) - 1 tbsp
  • coriander Chutney - 2 tbsp

How to make Hassleback Sweet Potato

  1. Boil the sweet potato to one whistle in cooker.
  2. Do not over boil it because we have to cut it also.
  3. Now peel all the sweet potatoes.
  4. Mark cuts the sweet potato in equal proportions but till the end as shown in picture
  5. Now pre heat the air fryer on 120 degree temperature for 2 minutes
  6. Place a foil paper on the base and then put 2 -3 sweet potato on it
  7. Sprinkle half of the salt, anardana powder on it
  8. Air fry it on 150 degree temperature for 4-5 minutes
  9. In the mean time, take a small pan, add one tbsp olive oil in it.
  10. Let it be heated on low flame for half minute and add tomato puree in it
  11. Let it be cooked for one minute
  12. Add soya sauce, salt and chill flakes in it.
  13. Cook it for 1 minutes more and off the flame.
  14. Now take the sweet potatoes out and sprinkle red chilli flakes on it
  15. Squeeze lemon on it and bit of coriander chutney
  16. Garnish it with coriander chutney and tomato chutney.
  17. You hassleback sweet potato is ready to eat
