ABOUT Tangy Tofu Corn Rice RECIPE

Do this Tofu dish in Microwave for best results, as the saucy texture, the corn & the soft Tofu retains its best taste and is absolutely a No oil greased or buttered Dish.Have this preparation on a bed of Steamed rice or Haaka Noodles .Too Yumm .I just did this whole dish on a bed of Steamed rice .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 6-7 pieces Soy Paneer or Tofu
  2. 100 grams Basmati Dubar rice
  3. Half cup sweet corn
  4. 1big bulb spring onion
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tblspn Chings red chilli sauce
  7. 2 tblspn Twango sweet and sour sauce by Del monte
  8. Pinch of kashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tspn garam masala

Instructions

  1. Cut the tofu into rectangular or square pieces keep aside
  2. Chop the spring onion greens and bulb ,long
  3. Take rice and soak 5 mins with sum salt
  4. Now take corn add tofu and chopped onions and greens
  5. Add on the above both the chilli and Twango sauce and the spices
  6. Do not mix them jus t put in Microwave for 5minutes .Remove keep covered
  7. Open this and find it well mixed else lighty mix with spatula
  8. Mean while put your rice to cook in Microwave for 7 minutes Water in rice to be exactly double the measure of rice
  9. Cook open for 3-4 minutes then cover cook 3 minutes
  10. Remove rice from the microwave and place your Tofu mix and enjoy the dish hot ( can mix too while having )
  11. Garnish with Corriander and serve
  12. Used this sauce
