Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Broken wheat 1/2 cup
  2. Capsicum 1/3 cup cut in long strips
  3. Corns frozen 1/4 cup
  4. Green peas 1/4 cup
  5. Carrot 1/2 cup cut in cubes
  6. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  7. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  8. Green chilli 2 chopped
  9. Onion chopped 1
  10. ginger minced 1/2 tsp
  11. salt as per taste
  12. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  14. black mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  15. curry leaves 10
  16. Dry Red chilli 1
  17. Fried cashew nuts and peanuts 1 tsp
  18. scrapped coconut fresh 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and drain broken wheat
  2. Boil in 2 cups of water for 5_6 mins
  3. Boil the vegetables also in salted water for 3_4 mins
  4. Strain and keep aside
  5. Heat oil add dry red chilli
  6. Now add curry leaves and black mustard seeds
  7. Let them crackle
  8. Add onion and ginger
  9. Add scrapped coconut
  10. Add the vegetables fry them for 5_6 mins
  11. Add turmeric powder and salt
  12. Add green chilli
  13. Saute for some time
  14. Add parboiled broken wheat
  15. Add lemon juice , fried cashews and peanuts
  16. Now add little sugar
  17. Switch off gas and garnish with coriander leaves
  18. Serve with green tea for a healthy breakfast
