ABOUT Masala Pasta in Indian Style RECIPE

This recipe is so different from other pasta recipes, inspired by Indian spices, tried to make the Spicy version of the pasta and it turned out delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pasta whole wheat 2 cups
  2. Capsicum 1
  3. Tomato 1 chopped
  4. Corn 1/4 cup
  5. Green peas 1/4 cup
  6. Spring onion 1/2 cup
  7. Whole cumin seeds 1+4 tsp
  8. Curry powder 1 tsp
  9. chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. Onion 1 chopped
  11. Garlic 3 pods chopped
  12. Salt
  13. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  14. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  15. Chilli flakes 1/4 tsp
  16. Dry mint 1/3 tsp
  17. Tomato ketchup 1 tsp
  18. Oil 3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in 4 cups of water with salt for 6_7 mins
  2. Add 1 tsp olive oil
  3. Drain water keep aside
  4. Heat oil in a nonstick pan
  5. Add whole jeera
  6. Add onion and garlic
  7. Saute for 2_3 mins
  8. Add capsicum pieces , parboiled green peas and corns
  9. Saute for 3_4 mins
  10. Add tomato pieces
  11. Also add tomato sauce
  12. Add all the spices powder and salt
  13. Once the oil starts separating from the spices add boiled pasta
  14. Now add dry mint and spring onion
  15. Sprinkle chilli flakes
  16. Garnish with coriander leaves
