ABOUT Pudina Chaas RECIPE

This is a very healthy option for those times when the tummy feels bloated and there is some gastric issue, also this can be taken post lunch to calm down all the spiciness of the food.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Yogurt 1 1/2 cups
  2. Fresh mint leaves torn4 tablespoons
  3. Green chilli 1
  4. Ginger peeled1 inch piece
  5. Sea salt to taste
  6. Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Dry mint leaves crushed1 teaspoon
  8. Ice cubes crushed as required

Instructions

  1. Grind fresh mint leaves, green chilli, ginger and sea salt together to a coarse paste in a mortar with a pestle.
  2. Blend this paste with yogurt, adding roasted cumin powder and four cups of water.
  3. Pour the chaas equally in four glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
