It is quick and healthy weight loss recipe. oats are healthy and helps in weight loss. vegetables make the dish tasty and healthy

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup oats
  2. 12 cup fine suji
  3. 12 cup fresh or sour curd
  4. Water as required
  5. 1 tsp Eno or 12 tsp baking soda
  6. vegetables like broccoli, red , yellow and green capsicums,onions, carrot according to taste
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take oatsgrinder and grind it to a fine flour
  2. Add sooji and mix both
  3. Cut all the vegetables in desired shape and keep it aside
  4. Add curd in the mixture of oats and sooji
  5. Stir the idly batter very well, the batter should have a medium consistency
  6. Cover and allow the batter to sit for 5 to 6 minutes
  7. Grease the idly moulds with little oil
  8. Heat water in the idly steamer or pressure cooker without whistle
  9. Now add salt as per taste and stir the mixture very well
  10. Add Eno or baking soda and stir very well so that eno is mixed evenly in the batter
  11. pour the oats idly batter in a greased idly moulds
  12. Try to use all the batter in one steaming
  13. place the moulds in steamer and steam the idlis for 10 - 12 minutes
  14. Allow the steamed idlis to stand for few minutes
  15. Remove them with a spoon and cut all the idlis in desired shape
  16. Take a big non stick wok
  17. Heat 12 tsp oil and add all the vegetables
  18. Saute the vegetables for 5 to 7 minutes
  19. Add idly pieces and Mix well
  20. Add salt and pepper
  21. Serve hot with coconut chutney
