Ingredients to make Vegge Oats idli with curd dip

  • Idli - 50gm oats(grinded ) & 50 gms Rava
  • 100 gms curd
  • 1 grated carrot, 2-3 florest broccoli grated, 2-3 mushroom grated.
  • 1 Onion, few curry leaves & mustard seeds
  • 2-3 spoon of vegetable oil & pinch of baking soda.
  • Salt & black pepper as taste.
  • curd Dip
  • 100gms hung curd
  • 2-3 spoon of roasted curd
  • 2-3 spoon of roasted peanuts
  • Small chopped oinon, grated carrot, coriander leaves.
  • Salt, black pepper, roasted cummin seeds.

How to make Vegge Oats idli with curd dip

  1. Heat pan & add a spoon of oil
  2. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves till splatter. Add onion & saute for a minute.
  3. Add grated carrot, broccoli & mushroom and saute them & add salt to get the moisture evaporated. Add black pepper and remove from fire.
  4. In a bowl add oats, rava, stirred vegetables with the curd and make thick batter. Check the salt & add if required according to taste.
  5. Heat the idli steamer. Grease the tray. Stir the batter & add pinch of baking soda and put them on the greased tray .Steam them on medium for appx 10-15 minutes. remove & let it cool.
  6. Take hung curd in a bowl.
  7. Add roasted peanuts, grated carrots, salt, black pepper & cummin seeds. We should add roasted oats & coriander while serving to get the crunchy taste of oats.
  8. Take a spoon of oil, add mustard seed , curry leaves and add to the ready curd dip.
  9. Serve idli with delicious health dip.
