SOYA KEBABS

Ingredients to make SOYA KEBABS

  • 1 cup soaked soya chunks
  • 1 Piece ginger
  • 1 piece garlic
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped carrot
  • 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp boiled green peas
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper-a pinch
  • hing-a pinch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • oil- for shallow frying
  • 4 tbsp Murmure (Puffed rice)
  • mint Chutney
  • tomato Ketchup or imli Chutney
  • curd

How to make SOYA KEBABS

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add a pinch of hing, chopped onions and sauté for 2 mins.
  2. Add chopped capsicum,carrot, boiled green peas, salt,black pepper and sauté it for one minute and put 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in mixture.
  3. Squeeze excess water from soya chunks and put them in mixer grinder along with one small piece of ginger and garlic & green chilli and churn it well.
  4. Put the mixture in bowl along with vegetable mixture and put breadcrumbs in mixture and some murmure and mix well.
  5. Take a portion of mixture,shape it like a kebabs . Shallow fry till both side gets golden brown.
  6. Garnish with green Mint chutney, Tomato ketchup or Imli Chutney, curd and sprinkle some miurmure on the top and Serve hot.

My Tip:

You can add mashed potatoes in the mixture as a binding agent.
