ABOUT Tiranga Pickle RECIPE

This is an instant pickle made with vegetables, I call it tiranga pickle due to the lovely flag colors in it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Cauliflower florets 1 cup
  2. Carrot (chopped) 1 cup
  3. Green Peas 1 cup
  4. Lemon -3
  5. salt as per taste
  6. Red chilli powder 2 spoons
  7. Fenugreek 1/4 spoon
  8. Mustard seeds 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash the cauliflower, carrot and green peas thoroughly.
  2. Spread a cloth and let the vegetables dry completely.
  3. Chop cauliflower into small florets.
  4. Chop carrot finely.
  5. Dry roast fenugreek and mustard seeds and grind to fine powder.
  6. Take a bowl, put all the three vegetables and squeeze the lemons to get their juice. Mix well.
  7. Add salt, chilli powder and the ground fenugreek and mustard powder.
  8. Mix well, cover with a lid and leave it overnight.
  9. Mix well on the next day and adjust the spices as per your taste.
