Shaam savera is a intresting curry recipe as it sounds.it has spinach balls with paneer stuffing in a tangy tomato gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer 125 gms
  2. Spinach 500 gms
  3. Green chilli, finely chopped 3,4
  4. Garlic, finely chopped 1 tsp
  5. Raisin 1 tsp
  6. Corn flour 3 tbls
  7. salt as per taste
  8. Oil for Deep frying
  9. For gravy
  10. Butter 3 tbls
  11. Garam masala 2 tsp
  12. Ginger, garlic paste 2 tsp
  13. Tomato puree 2 cup
  14. Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
  15. Sugar 1 tsp
  16. Kasoori methi 1/2 tsp
  17. Fresh cream 1 cup
  18. Cumin, big pinch
  19. Asafoetida , big pinch
  20. Bay leaves, 2
  21. Salt
  22. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash the spinach. Blanch the spinach for 5 mins.refresh in cold water.chop and keep aside.
  2. Take a bowl. Now add green chilli, salt, garlic, cornflour and spinach, mix well and divide into 10 equal portions.
  3. Grate paneer, add salt and raisin; mash well, divide it into 10 equal balls.
  4. Take spinach, flatten it on your palm and stuff paneer balls in it.shape it into a ball.
  5. Deep fry the balls.
  6. Now heat butter in a wok, add cumin, bay leaves, asafoetida, let it cracle.
  7. Then add ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, and red chilli powder, saute it.
  8. Add tomato puree and salt, mix properly. Cook for 5 mins.
  9. Add 1 cup water and sugar, bring it to a boil.
  10. Simmer for 10 mins.
  11. Add kasoori methi and fresh cream.
  12. Serve koftas cut into halves on top of creamy gravy.
  13. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  14. Serve hot.
