Ingredients to make MATTA RICE KHEER(No Added Sugar)

  • Soya milk 2 cups
  • Matta rice 1/2 cup
  • Blanched and slivered almonds 10
  • pistachio 15 slivered
  • saffron a pinch
  • water 3cups
  • Green cardamom 2
  • Kewra water 1 tsp

How to make MATTA RICE KHEER(No Added Sugar)

  1. Soak rice in 3 cups of water for 30 min
  2. Pressure cook rice ,in same water, till soft
  3. Remove the lid add soya milk and boil till kheer is thick
  4. Add saffron ,almonds and pista..
  5. Give a churn to the kheer in a blender (as Matta rice is very thick and takes lot of time to reach kheer like consistency.add kewra .
  6. Serve hot/ cold.

My Tip:

Soya milk makes it more healthy
