Ingredients to make Cabbage dosa/ cabbage fritters..

  • cabbage - 2 cups, chopped
  • chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • hing [Asfoetida] - a pinch
  • gram flour - 1/2 cup or more
  • Rawa - 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • oil for shallow fry

How to make Cabbage dosa/ cabbage fritters..

  1. Take chopped cabbage in a large bowl.
  2. Add chilli powder, turmeric, salt, Hing and mix well.
  3. Add gram flour and mix. Put in about 2 tbsp of water.
  4. The mix has to hold together. If required add more gram flour and water.
  5. Spread rawa on a plate.
  6. Heat the tawa. Add a tsp of oil.
  7. Take handfuls of the cabbage, make rough round, coat in rawa on all sides and put on the tawa. Press with fingers to flatten. About 1 cm thickness.
  8. Cook on low flame on both sides.
  9. Serve hot with dal rice or as an evening snack.
