Ingredients to make Broken Wheat Salad with grilled paneer and vegetables

  • 1 cup Broken wheat(Daliya)
  • 1/2 cup carrot( diced)
  • 100 gm paneer
  • 8-10 French beans
  • 5-6 baby potatoes
  • 3-4 baby onions
  • 1 cucumber(diced)
  • 5-6 almonds (soaked)
  • Salt n pepper as per taste
  • lemon juice
  • olive oil

How to make Broken Wheat Salad with grilled paneer and vegetables

  1. Soak Broken Wheat for half an hour. Pressure cook it till soft. Add little salt to Broken wheat, before hand.
  2. Marinate all the vegetables (except cucumber) and paneer with lemon juice, salt and pepper for half an hour.
  3. Pre heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius. Place the vegetables and paneer in a tray and place it in the oven, add little olive oil on them and grill them. Place the paneer in the aluminum foil so that it remains soft.
  4. Now assemble the vegetables and Paneer with Broken wheat along with cucumber and almonds. Add salt and pepper , with little olive oil. It is a healthy one pot meal.
