Ingredients to make Snow white banana cake ( eggless)

  • 1 cups all purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup oil/ melted butter
  • 1/2 cup regular sugar
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

How to make Snow white banana cake ( eggless)

  1. First mix the all purposed flour/maida with baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl.
  2. Just keep everything ready as you have to be quick enough to mix the batter.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
  4. Grease a 6 or 7 inches baking mould with butter or oil or put a butter paper in the mould and grease the butter paper with oil or butter.
  5. Now get about 1/2 cup of oil in a separate bowl and add the sugar to the oil.
  6. Stir and mix well & keep it aside.
  7. Now take a banana and smash it with fork.
  8. Mix the oil & sugar mixture with smashed banana & whisk well.
  9. Now add vanilla essence.
  10. Be quick enough to fold and make a lump free batter.
  11. If batter is thick, don't over do the folding and add 2 teaspoon cold milk
  12. Pour the batter in the greased baking mould.
  13. Shake and tap the sides of the pan so that air bubbles are released.
  14. Place the pan in the centre of preheated oven.
  15. Bake at 180 degrees C for 25-30 minutes or more till a tooth pick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
  16. If the cake browns too quickly on the top, then cover the top with an aluminium foil or butter paper.
  17. Once done put the cake at room temperature and allow it to cool down.
  18. Then with the help of oven mitts, gently remove the cake to tray.
  19. Once the cake cools down do the Icing with whipped cream.
  20. Your Egg less Snowfall banana cake is ready.

My Tip:

Instead of banana you can use 2-3 table spoon of curd. ( Banana and curd help to bind cake mixer just like egg).
