ABOUT INDO MEXICAN WARM SALAD RECIPE

In a chilly winters we all want something warm & quick to satisfy our evening hunger. This salad is quick, healthy and tasty at the same time.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup corn kernels
  2. 1-2 chopped green chillies
  3. 1 chopped onion
  4. 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  5. 2 tbsp chopped carrot
  6. 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  7. 1 tsp tomato sauce
  8. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  10. 1 tsp butter
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Black Pepper to taste
  13. chopped green coriander
  14. Tabasco sauce - optional

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan on a slow flame. Add chopped green chillies and onions & saute for 1 min.
  2. Add capsicum,carrots and cabbage & saute for 2 mins. Don't overcook vegetables. Vegetables should be crunchy.
  3. At the end add corns and cook for another 2 mins. Add tomato sauce, salt - black pepper to taste and lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle some chaat masala & garnish it with fresh chopped green coriander.
  5. Serve Hot and immediately
