Ingredients to make Paneer Makhani

  • paneer blanched 400 gms
  • onion 1
  • garlic pods 8
  • ginger 1 inch piece
  • Green chilli 3
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • Thick cream 1 tbsp
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • tomato 2
  • sugar 1/2 tsp salt
  • Fresh coriander leaves 1 tsp
  • For Tempering :
  • cloves 10
  • cardamom small 6
  • Black pepper 10
  • Whole jeera 1/4 tsp
  • bay leaf 2

How to make Paneer Makhani

  1. Make a smooth paste of onion , garlic , ginger and green chilli
  2. Heat butter
  3. Add whole cumin , bay leaves
  4. Add cloves , cardamom , cinnamon stick
  5. Now add coriander powder , chilli powder , curry powder
  6. Also add turmeric powder
  7. Saute for 2_3 mins
  8. Add onion ginger paste
  9. Saute for 5 mins
  10. Add tomato puree
  11. Add salt
  12. Again saute for 3_4 mins
  13. Add paneer pieces
  14. Add kasuri methi
  15. Add sugar
  16. Mix with the spices add 1 cup hot water
  17. Boil for 4_5 mins
  18. Add thick cream
  19. Garnish with coriander leaves
