Ingredients to make Khatta mitha papad jhal bhalla

  • oil
  • moong dal - 1cup
  • curd - 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt
  • Sagoo papad - 2
  • coriander leaves [handful & chopped]
  • Tarmind chutney - 2 tbsp
  • green chutney - 2 tsp
  • Chat masala [1 tsp]

How to make Khatta mitha papad jhal bhalla

  1. Firstly soak moong dal for 3 hour, after 3 hour grind the moong dal in a mixer grinder, and add salt or chat masala with lt=ittle chilly powder . Mix it well and heat oil in fryer and make bhallla after making bhalla soak in water, [add hing in water for extra flavour].
  2. Whisk the curd with little salt and sugar, and chill it in the fridge. Add the fried and soaked bhallas into the whisked curd.
  3. Make sagoo jhal take sagoo soak for 4 hour and grind it well after this drain water, pat dry and fry it.
  4. Take soak curd bhalla add both chutney ,black salt red pepper,salt chat masala in it ,use coriander for presentation and take sagoo papad jhal on left side of bhalla flat . You can add dry fruit in it or pomegranate also.

My Tip:

For soft bhalla dip into water of hing instantly after fry
