Surti Papdi Ki Tikki

Ingredients to make Surti Papdi Ki Tikki

  • Blanched Surti papdi seeds 1 cup
  • Grated paneer 1/2 cup
  • chopped coriander 1 tsp
  • finely chopped onions 2 tsp
  • chopped ginger 1 tsp
  • chopped green chillies 1 tsp
  • lemon juice, a wedge of lemon
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1-2 tsp
  • cumin powder a pinch
  • raw mango powder a pinch
  • gram flour 1-2 tsp
  • butter 1tsp
  • oil 5 tsp

How to make Surti Papdi Ki Tikki

  1. In a bowl add blanched surti papdi seeds and mash them
  2. Now add grated paneer, chopped coriander,finely chopped onions,ginger, green chilli ,lemon juice, salt ,red chilli powder , raw mango powder and mash it
  3. Add gram flour and mix
  4. Make tikkis of the prepared mixture
  5. Heat butter and oil in a pan ,and shallow fry the tikkis till it cooked , place them on tissue paper
  6. And garnish the tikkis with mint chutney and onions , lemon wedges
