Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Flax seed powder - 1 cup
  2. Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  3. Powdered Jaggery - 1 cup
  4. Ghee - 1 and 1/ 4 cup
  5. Finely chopped almonds - 2 tbsp
  6. Sesame seeds - 2 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast flax seed powder on low heat and keep aside once a pleasant aroma is released
  2. Dry roast the sesame seeds on low heat till they pop. Keep aside
  3. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and roast the wheat flour in it, until darker in colour and it starts releasing a pleasant aroma
  4. Add in the jaggery and mix to combine. Add in all other ingredients and mix thoroughly
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Take a little mixture between greased palms, press and form into balls/ bites. The laddoo mix needs to warm else the balls will not be formed.
  6. Cool and store in an air tight container
