Ingredients to make Purple yam tikka (kand tikka)

  • 2 cup yam peeled n chopped in one inch size
  • 2 tea spoon red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 4 tea spoon oil
  • 1 tea spoon chat masala
  • 1 tea spoon amchur powder
  • coriander for garnish

How to make Purple yam tikka (kand tikka)

  1. Steam purple yam in steamer for 5 minutes
  2. Let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes
  3. In big bowl add yam and 2 tea spoon oil
  4. Add all dry masala amchur red chilli powder salt and chat masala
  5. Marinate for 10 minutes
  6. Now arrange yam in tikka stick
  7. Take nonstick pan heat 2 teaspoon oil
  8. Now keep tikka stick in the pan and fry till crisp it will take 5 to 7 minutes
  9. For plating take on plate sprinkle some chat masala ,then arrange stick and garnish with chopped coriander

My Tip:

If you want more spicy add up more chili powder and chat masala and you can stair fry in pan without sticks also and that can be served in bowl
