Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mawa-250gms
  2. Milk-250ml
  3. Ghee-200gms
  4. Sugar-250 gm
  5. Khajur-250gm
  6. Singhada flour-50 gm
  7. Kaju-50gms
  8. Anjeer-50gms
  9. Badam-50 gms
  10. Pista-25 gms
  11. Magajtari-50 gms
  12. Akhrot-50 gms
  13. Javitri-5 gm
  14. Jaifal-1/2 tsp
  15. Sunth-10 gm
  16. Black pepper powder-10 gms
  17. Safed muesli-5 gm
  18. Salam-5 gm
  19. Piper-5 gm
  20. Ganthoda-5 gm
  21. Batrisu-15 gms(optional)

Instructions

  1. First chop all dry fruits into fine pieces and grind all spices.
  2. Soak anjeer pieces in little milk.Deseed the Khajur and chop in small pieces.
  3. Roast all dryfruits slightly.
  4. Take ghee in a pan,add sugar and milk.Boil for 5 minutes till sugar melts.
  5. Add anjeer and Khajur.Keep stirring for 5 minutes till everything mixes properly.
  6. Add Mawa and roast properly for 5 minutes.Add singhada flour and all spices in this and stir well.
  7. You need to keep roasting with spatula as now this mix becomes thick and may stick to bottom of pan.
  8. Make it this consistency such that spatula stands upright in it.
  9. Lastly add jaiphal and mix.
  10. Now add half cup hot water from all sides and stir till all water dries.you will see that ghee is released.Now pour this mix in thalis and press with a flat Katori to give a smooth appearance.
  11. Many people pour ghee on top of this but we don't like excess ghee so I have not done so.
  12. Your nutritious Salam Pak is ready to help you fight against the cold and give stamina.
