Ingredients to make Healthy and refreshing _spinach raita

  • fresh curd -200 gms
  • spinach -100 gms (washed, cut and grind into a paste)
  • salt -as per taste
  • black salt -1/4 tspn
  • roasted cumin powder -1/2 tspn

How to make Healthy and refreshing _spinach raita

  1. Wash spinach nicely and grind it into a paste.
  2. strain curd through a strainer, add spinach paste, salts (both white and black), and roasted cumin powder. Mix well.
  3. Adjust the consistency of the raita with water and serve chilled in main course.

My Tip:

1- It has to be added in raw form and not boiled. 2- Raw spinach gives wonderful fresh green colour to raita when added to curd. 3- Raita is loaded with nutrients of raw spinach.
