ABOUT Pav bhaji RECIPE

This recipe is my Nita mehta. I am sure everyone loves pav bhaji, so follow this easy recipe to make some at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled vegetable [1 cup] , this includes carrots, beans, green peas, cabbage, cauliflower.
  2. tomatoes - 1
  3. onion [chopped] - 1
  4. ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  5. pav bhaji masala - 2 tbsp
  6. red chilly powder -1 tsp
  7. turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. salt
  9. refined oil
  10. pav - 6
  11. butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some oil. Add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown. Then add the ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes away.
  2. Then add the tomatoes, salt and powdered masalas. Cook till the masala leaves oil and then add the boiled vegetables. cover and cook on a low flame till the all the vegetables have soaked in the masala.
  3. With the help of a masher, mash the vegetables, add water if required, bring upto boil, check for seasoning. Cook till dry enough and take off the heat.
  4. Slice each pav into 2 and then toast in on a hot tawa with some butter. serve with the pav and extra dollop of butter on top.
