This yummy and ready in a jiffy , this recipe has been taken from microwave desi khana by Tarla Dalal..it turned out yummilicious indeed.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 1/2 cup chopped methi leaves
  2. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  3. 1/2 Cup Green Peas
  4. 1/2 cup Milk
  5. 3 tbsp cream
  6. A pinch sugar
  7. 2 tbsp Oil
  8. Salt to taste
  9. To be ground into a paste
  10. 1 Onion
  11. 1 green chilli
  12. 1/2 inch ginger
  13. 1 clove garlic
  14. 2 tbsp cashewnuts
  15. 2 tsp Poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash methi leaves, add 1/2 tsp salt and leave aside for 10 mins.
  2. In a glass bowl, combine methi leaves with 1 tbsp of oil and microwave on high for 2 mins.keep aside.
  3. In another glass bowl,combine peas with 2 tbsp of water.microwave on high for 1 min and keep aside
  4. In a glass bowl combine the prepared paste with 1 tbsp oil and microwave on high for 2 mins.
  5. Add milk, cream,sugar ,salt and methi leaves and peas to this mix and microwave on high for 2 mins.
  6. Serve hot.
