Ingredients to make Methi mutter malai ( microwave recipe)

  • 1 1/2 cup chopped methi leaves
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Green peas
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • A pinch sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • To be ground into a paste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp cashewnuts
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds

How to make Methi mutter malai ( microwave recipe)

  1. Wash methi leaves, add 1/2 tsp salt and leave aside for 10 mins.
  2. In a glass bowl, combine methi leaves with 1 tbsp of oil and microwave on high for 2 mins.keep aside.
  3. In another glass bowl,combine peas with 2 tbsp of water.microwave on high for 1 min and keep aside
  4. In a glass bowl combine the prepared paste with 1 tbsp oil and microwave on high for 2 mins.
  5. Add milk, cream,sugar ,salt and methi leaves and peas to this mix and microwave on high for 2 mins.
  6. Serve hot.
