Instant methi matar malai

Ingredients to make Instant methi matar malai

  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • 2 - Onions (Roughly Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - kaju
  • 6 to 7 - green chillies
  • Half inch ginger piece
  • 6 to 7 - garlic cloves
  • Sugar - 1/2 tablespoon
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • Jeera/cumin - 2 tsps
  • Kasoori methi as per taste
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder as per taste
  • 2-3 tbsp malai
  • 1/2 cup - boiled peas

How to make Instant methi matar malai

  1. Boil the peas and keep aside.
  2. In a kadhai heat oil and add jeera.
  3. Meanwhile in a mixer put curd, ginger, garlic, kaju, green chilies, sugar and onion. Make a fine paste. Keep aside.
  4. After the jeera put this paste in the kadhai and fry till the oil gets separated
  5. Now add in the boiled peas, kasuri methi, salt and black pepper powder. Adjust the quantity as per one's taste.
  6. Check the taste and lastly put malai for that extra richness and mix well.

My Tip:

You can skip the malai if you are a calorie conscious.
