ABOUT Pita Bread Cheesy Omelette RECIPE

Have a healthy breakfast by opting for this omelette on crisp pita bread and topped with cheese. Eat this hot with chilli garlic sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 pita breads
  2. 4 beaten eggs
  3. Onions 2 finely chopped
  4. 1 cup of finely cut mixed veggies, tomatoes, bellpepper, carrots, cucumbers (optional)
  5. Black pepper as per taste
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1 cup any cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, ricotta etc)
  8. Fresh chopped coriander or parsley a generous handful

Instructions

  1. On an oiled pan, fry the pita bread and add 2 beaten eggs with chopped onions and lots of freshly chopped coriander to each bread.
  2. You can add any of your kid's favourite veggies also. Mix everything in the eggs just as we do for an omelette.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  4. Cover this and let it cook for about 3-4 mins.
  5. Uncover it and if cooked through, sprinkle the cheese over and switch off the flame.
  6. Cover it for another minute. Serve hot with chilli garlic sauce .
