Multigrain Chocolate Ghee Biscuits

Ingredients to make Multigrain Chocolate Ghee Biscuits

  • Multigrain flour or wholewheat flour 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  • ghee 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • egg 1
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • Jam 2 tbsp (optional)

How to make Multigrain Chocolate Ghee Biscuits

  1. Beat sugar and egg together until well mixed.
  2. Then add in the ghee and vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. To this, add the multi grain flour and cocoa powder.
  4. Mix well to form a soft dough. If the dough is too sticky, add in 2-3 tbsp more of the flour.
  5. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  6. After that, take the dough out.
  7. Roll it into a thin sheet.
  8. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter.
  9. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  10. Grease a baking tray.
  11. Place the cut out biscuit shapes on the baking tray.
  12. Prick them with a fork, or if you want jam centers, make a shallow well at the center and fill with jam.
  13. Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes.
  14. Allow to cool completely.
  15. Enjoy the crispy chocolate biscuits.
