Daliya and Sattu Patties

Ingredients to make Daliya and Sattu Patties

  • 1 cup cooked bulgur (dried medium cook)
  • 3/4 cup grated carrots
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 tsp sattu (gram flour)
  • 1 tsp suji
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves fresh chopped
  • 1 tsp pudina chopped
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp fennel powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking

How to make Daliya and Sattu Patties

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and knead well.
  2. Keep this bowl in fridge atleast 30 min to enhance the flavour.
  3. Heat nonstick pan, grease with oil, remove from fridge now and make round shape patties. Now place these patties on medium hot pan, when one side is cooked, flip it and cook on other side till crispy and brown in colour.
  4. Serve it hot with khajoor and tamarind sweet and sour chutney and with grated salad.
