Cinnabons

Ingredients to make Cinnabons

  • 2.5 cups wholewheat flour
  • 5 tsp Milk powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 5 tsp cream
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3/4th cup milk
  • For the filling : 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2.5 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 the cup jaggery powder

How to make Cinnabons

  1. In a bowl mix flour,sugar,salt,yeast,oil,cream,milk powder and with the help of milk knead a soft dough. Knead for 10 mins atleast.
  2. Oil the dough and let it double in size(say an hour) Once doubled punch the dough and flatten it . Apply the filling mix.spread nicely.
  3. Roll and cut them.Arrange them in a tray and let them rise for 2nd time. Brush the remaining filling over the rolls Cover with a foil(loose fitted)
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 d c for 15 mins. Remove the foil apply butter/milk wash/egg wash and bake for another 5 mins.
  5. Remove the rolls and apply butter on them. Serve hot or warm. They disappear soon, so be prepared with second roll

My Tip:

I have use 1/2cup oats flour to make it healthy.so that makes 2cups WWFlour and 1/2 cup oats flour
