Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  2. 3 Eggs (Medium size)
  3. Salt
  4. 2 tbsp Butter
  5. 1 Onion small (pureed)
  6. 1/2 cup Yogurt
  7. 1 cup Tomato puree
  8. 1/2 cup Peas
  9. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  10. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp Turmeric
  12. 1 ½ tsp Red chilli powder
  13. 1 tsp Pepper powder

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and salt on a flat surface. Make a well in centre and crack the eggs in it.
  2. Then using the fork beat the eggs incorporating the flour little by little to form a soft dough. When the dough has come together, on a floured surface knead the dough by folding and kneading with the heel of palm to form a smooth, dough
  3. Cut the dough into half. Cover one half with a moist cloth. Roll the other half with a rolling pin into a very thin sheet. With knife/pizza cutter cut it into rectangular strips.
  4. Pinch the individual strips in the middle to form a bow and place them on a floured surface. Bring a large pan of water to a boil over high flame. Add the pasta to boiling water. Fresh pasta cooks really fast in about 3 minutes, drain water
  5. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion puree and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Mix in the tomato puree and turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and garam masala.
  6. Then add yogurt and cook till the oil separates from the gravy Add farfalle pasta and cook till the sauce coats the pasta (about 5 minutes). Add the peas and then season with salt and pepper.
  7. You can sprinkle with cheese of your choice before serving.
