Veg.Shahi Nargisi Kofta

Ingredients to make Veg.Shahi Nargisi Kofta

  • Paneer 120g
  • Maida- 1 tsp
  • Ginger and garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • Kesar- a pinch
  • Fresh cream- 1 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp
  • Kaju -1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking powder- a pinch
  • Coriander leaves- a handful
  • Khoya- 50 gms
  • Tomatoes- 6
  • Green chilli- 5
  • Oil- as required

How to make Veg.Shahi Nargisi Kofta

  1. Put the tomato and green chilli in boiling water, after few minutes add kaju and boil for another 5 minutes. Now drain the water, let this mixture cool then puree in a blender.
  2. Mash paneer, add maida, salt, baking powder, mix well and make egg shaped balls.Stuff each ball with khoya. Fry and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a separate pan and add the tomato paste as well as ginger garlic to it, fry well.Lastly add kesar, cream, garam masala and salt to taste to the gravy.
  4. Just before serving add the khoya paneer balls to gravy and serve hot garnished with coriander.
