Ingredients to make Tri colour Pedha

  • Whole Milk 1 litre
  • sugar 3 tablespoon
  • saffron 1 pinch
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbs
  • pistachios grated 1 tsp
  • Milk powder 3 tbs
  • Orange foodcolour 1 drop
  • Green food colour 1 drop

How to make Tri colour Pedha

  1. Take a which bottom saucepan or kadhai pour milk add milk powder mix well. Put the pan on gas with medium heat.
  2. When the milk starts boiling stir it continuously otherwise milk will stick at bottom and burn.
  3. When the milk turns in thick rabadi form add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir continuously.
  4. When the milk take lumpy form turn off the gas. Transfer the Macs in a plate.
  5. Divide the Nava in 3 part.
  6. Add saffron and orange colour in 1st part mix them.
  7. Add desiccated coconut in 2nd part and mix them.
  8. Add grated pistachios green colour and mix them.
  9. On plastic sheet 1 st put Orange colour part spread with soft hand level it.
  10. Now put white part spread it.
  11. Now put green part spread it.
  12. Cool them for 5 minutes cut in small pieces.
  13. Tri colour pedha is ready to serve

My Tip:

If you want variations in padha you can add coconut powder or cocoa powder or only Saffron in the milk also.
