ABOUT Pav Bhaji RECIPE

This is one of my family's favourite brunch , followed the recipe from "Microwave Ee Ranna " by Bela Dey and Bina Deb

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrots 2
  2. Cauliflower florets 10
  3. Green peas 1/2 cup
  4. Potato 1 big
  5. Capsicum 2 medium size
  6. Pav bhaji masala 2 tsp
  7. Chilli Powder 1 1/2 tsp
  8. Tomato chopped 2
  9. Onion 2 chopped
  10. Garlic chopped 2 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp
  12. Salt
  13. Curry powder 1 tsp
  14. coriander powder 1 tsp
  15. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  16. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  17. Butter 2 tbsp
  18. Buns 8 cut in half and fried with butter

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop all the vegetables
  2. Boil in pressure cooker for 4_5 whistles
  3. Now put in the blender , blend coarsely
  4. Chop onions and garlic
  5. Heat oil
  6. Add onions
  7. Fry until translucent
  8. Add garlic too
  9. Saute for 3 mins
  10. Add tomato cover and cook for 3_4 mins , until tomatoes are soft
  11. Add turmeric powder , chilli powder , coriander powder , curry powder and salt
  12. Now add pav bhaji masala too
  13. Now add mashed vegetables
  14. Saute until the mixture thickened
  15. Add garam masala and butter
  16. Sprinkle lemon juice
  17. Garnish with coriander leaves , chopped onions , lemon wedges
  18. Serve hot with fried pav
