ABOUT Nadru tikki RECIPE

Nadru(lotus stem) tikki is a crispy side dish made by grinding nadru.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Nadru(lotus stem) 2 to 3 stems
  2. Oil for Deep frying
  3. Salt as per tastr
  4. Green chilli's 2 to 3
  5. Chopped Corrirnder 2 tbsp
  6. Ginger powder 1/2 tbsp
  7. Turmeric1/2tbsp
  8. GARAM MASALA 1 TBSP
  9. Egg 1

Instructions

  1. Wash lotus stem in running water and cut them in medium slices.
  2. Add all the ingredients (except egg) in mixer and mash them.
  3. In a bowl, beat egg and add the contents of mixer in the bowl containing egg.
  4. Using your hands mix the ingredients well and set aside for about 10 mins.
  5. In a pan add oil for deep frying.
  6. Shape the mixture into round tikkis and deep fry tikkis on low heat till they become crispy and colour becomes golden brown.
  7. Transfer the crispy tikkis on plate and serve them hot
