Ingredients to make Strawberry Mille Feuille(Napolean)

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1/2 cup thin slices of strawberry 's
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • Strawberry and mint leaves for garnish
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (whipped to stiff peaks)
  • Ingredients for puff pastry :
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 100 gm Cold butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water

How to make Strawberry Mille Feuille(Napolean)

  1. Method for puff pastry sheet :
  2. Sieve flour and mix half of cold butter and rub with finger tips until flour becomes crumbly , then add cold water and form dough .Cling wrap it and keep in fridge for half an hour.
  3. Take chilled dough and roll it longitudinally , keep remaining butter in middle then fold from both the ends.
  4. Roll again and fold from both the ends mid way .repeat the process 3-4 times ,if dough becomes soft keep in fridge and again start rolling and folding process when dough becomes stiff.
  5. Cut out a rectangle of the dough , at sprinkle some caster sugar on top.
  6. Put a parchment over pastry sheet and place a baking tray over it so the pastry doesn't rise too much during baking.Bake at 180 C for 15-20 mins until pastry sheet turns golden.
  7. Assembly:
  8. Set one piece of the baked puff pastry on a plate.
  9. Arrange layer of strawberry slices and pipe whipped cream with star nozzle .
  10. Top with another layer of baked puff pastry and again arrange strawberry slices and pipe whipped cream with star nozzle.
  11. Top with the last layer of puff pastry. Dust with some powdered sugar on top.
  12. Garnish with Strawberry and mint leaf on the top.
  13. Serve chilled.

I'm choosing this dish for my future wife or girlfriend so it's looking sooo beautiful but I'm not sure about taste .... I hope .... Meri future wife or girlfriend mujhe pitey na :smile::smile::yum:
