ABOUT Methi mashrooms RECIPE

This is a delicious and easy dish to be served along with some naan or chapathis for those special occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. mushroom - 100 gm
  2. Onion 2 [ground into paste]
  3. Tomato 2 [chopped]
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  5. Green chillies - 2 [slit]
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  7. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Fresh cream - 1/4 th cup
  9. Methi [fenugreek] leaves , chopped 1 cup
  10. Salt
  11. Turmeric powder 1/4 th tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan, add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute and then add the ground onion paste. Saute till then turn brownish in color.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes along with the powdered masalas and salt. cook till the masala leaves oil. Then add the mushrooms and methi leaves, stir for few minutes.
  3. Add the cream and give it a stir, once it bubbles, then check for salt, garnish with the coriander leaves. Serve hot.
