How to make MOONG DAAL KE PAKODE

  1. Drain excess water from soaked moong daal with the help of strainer. Now grind moong daal in a grinder and make a course paste. Add little water if required.
  2. Now convert daal mixture in a bowl. Add chopped green chillies, onions, ginger, asafoetida, salt, black pepper, green coriander, baking soda.
  3. Mix batter well for 3-4 minutes as this will make the batter light.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadhai on a medium flame. To check the temperature of oil drop a piece of mixture in oil. If it comes to the surface immediately then oil is sufficiently hot.
  5. Using your fingers drop small amounts of batter in a hot oil and deep fry in small batches until it gets golden brown.
  6. Take out fried pakode on a tissue paper. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup & grated radish.

My Tip:

You can also use small spoon to drop mixture in oil .
