Masala Daliya

Ingredients to make Masala Daliya

  • wheat bran 250 gms
  • Mix dal tuvar udad chana & moong dal 1 cup
  • Vegetables - carrots1/2 cup
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • cauliflower 1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves 1 cup
  • Green garlic 1 cup
  • Green chilli 7-8 as per ur taste
  • garlic cloves8-10
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Powder of pepper cloves star anise and cinnamon 2 tsp
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt

How to make Masala Daliya

  1. Soak wheat bran and mix dal
  2. In a bowl for half an hour after cleaning it properly. Chop all the vegetables . Grind chilli and garlic in the mixture jar.
  3. Heat some oil in a pressure cooker. Then after put chilli garlic paste grounded spices and turmeric powder and all chopped vegetables and stir until the smell comes out .
  4. Then add wheat bran and mix dal in it & add salt as per ur taste. Now add 4 times the water measured by wheat bran and dal. Now close the lid& let it whistle for 5-6 times on medium flame.
  5. Your daliya is ready now garnish it with lots of coriander leaves& green garlic and sesame oil for a unique taste
