Chopsuey (Vegetable Stir Fry)

Ingredients to make Chopsuey (Vegetable Stir Fry)

  • Carrot – 1 Big
  • Cabbage – 1 Cup
  • Beans – 1/2 Cup
  • Brocoli – 1/2 cup
  • Onion – 1/2 Cup
  • Boiled Potato – 1 small
  • Soya Sauce : 1 tspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tspoon
  • Garlicc – 3 cloves (cut into small pieces)
  • Oil – 1/2 Tspoon (I used olive oil you can use any)
  • Wihte Vinegar – 1/4 tspoon
  • chat masala – 1/2 tspoon (optional)
  • Salt – To taste

How to make Chopsuey (Vegetable Stir Fry)

  1. Cut all the veggies in medium shape and keep aside.
  2. Take a Pan, add oil and allow the pan to heat well. The pan should be really hot before you ad any veggie’s.
  3. when the pan is really hot add garlic and saute for a 5 sec.
  4. Add Carrot, broccoli, onion and beans. Saute well for 2 mins in the high flame.
  5. After 2 mins add salt, cabbage, potato and mix well for a min.
  6. Take a bowl add soya sauce, vinegar and sugar and mix well. Add the mixture in the pan.
  7. Mix the sauce well continuously for a min, until the sauce gets coated well to the vegetables.
  8. After a min add chat masala give it a stir and switch off. (Note: Do not cook the vegetables for long, else veggie’s will be soggy and not crisp. Follow the timings mentioned and it’ll be crisp.)

My Tip:

– If you need like semi gravy add cornstarch mixed with water in the end and stir well. - You can use any veggie’s you have at home. Make sure you have 2 servings - Do not cook the vegetables for long, else veggie’s will be soggy and not crisp.
