Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basa fish pieces - 250 gm
  2. Cornflour - 1 tbsp
  3. Maida - 1 tbsp
  4. Egg - 1
  5. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 th tsp
  7. Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  8. Salt
  9. Refined oil
  10. For the tempering :
  11. Chopped ginger & garlic - 1 tsp
  12. Chopped green chillies - 3
  13. Curry leaves - 12-15
  14. Red Chilly paste - 1 tbsp
  15. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  16. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  17. Curd - 1/4th Cup
  18. Crushed pepper - 1/2 tsp
  19. Lime juice - 1 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make a mix of egg, cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
  2. Add the fish pieces to the above mix and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Deep fry them in very hot oil and keep aside.
  4. To make the tadka, heat a wok with little oil.
  5. Add chopped ginger, garlic , chillies and curry leaves.
  6. Stir and add the powdered masalas and curd. Cook for a minutes and then add the fried fish pieces.
  7. Give it a mix and serve.
