Breaded Fish Fillet in Coconut sauce

Ingredients to make Breaded Fish Fillet in Coconut sauce

  • 200gmfish fillet
  • 1/2tsp redchilli powder
  • 1/4tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • oil
  • 1/2cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Grated coconut for garnish
  • For coconut sauce:
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 7 chopped small onions
  • 1 greenchilli
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp redchilli powder
  • salt
  • oil
  • curry leaves

How to make Breaded Fish Fillet in Coconut sauce

  1. Marinate the fish fillet with redchilli powder ,turmeric powder,pepper powder ,lemon juice and salt for 1 hour
  2. Beat the egg with salt and keep aside.Then mix salt and pepper in breadcrumbs and spread in plate.
  3. Dip the fish in egg then roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Brush the baking pan with oil and bake @180°cfor 20 mins .until top layer is crisped.
  5. To make Coconut sauce:
  6. In a pan add oil , small onion saute it just it is pink then add curryleaves ,turmeric , redchilli powder and salt finally add the thick coconut milk and stir until it boils and thickens ....yummy coconut sauce ready so flavourful..
  7. pour it on top of breaded fish fillet and sprinkle grated coconut on it and serve hot.
