Corn pattice Frankie

Ingredients to make Corn pattice Frankie

  • For pattice-
  • Sweet corn 1 cup
  • onion 1 big
  • ginger 1 piece
  • Grated coconut 1 tbsp
  • green chillies 4 chopped
  • few curry leaves
  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Zeera 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 2 tbsp and for frying
  • Boiled potatoes 4-5
  • Chillie flakes 1 tbsp
  • corn flour 4 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • For roti-
  • Makkai atta 1 1/2 cup
  • Wheat atta 1 cup
  • Zeera powder 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • water for kneading dough
  • Green coconut chutne-
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • green chillies 6
  • salt
  • garlic 2
  • oil 1 tsp

How to make Corn pattice Frankie

  1. For green coconut chutney- Mix all ingredients and grind it into a paste.
  2. For franki roti- Add all the ingredients in mixing bowl and form a soft dough.
  3. Roll the dough in small rotis and roast them on gas and keep them aside.
  4. For corn pattice- Boil the potatoes and mash them nicely add in salt chilli flakes and corn flour and mix it with hand.
  5. Boil the corn with little salt and keep aside.
  6. In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil one by one add all the ingredients and cook them and then add the boil corn and mix it.
  7. Now take the mash potatoe squeez it with your palms then add the filling and cover it. Do it as you stuff Paratha.
  8. Heat oil for deep frying and fry the pattice. Until golden brown.
  9. Now take the roti on the gas put corn Pattice and break it then put the chutney on it.
  10. Roll it like a Frankie.
  11. Do the same with every patti.
  12. And serve.

My Tip:

You can also have the pattice with Chutney without roti. If having frankie you also put some onion strings inside the frankie.
