ABOUT Corn pattice Frankie RECIPE

Famous Mahabaleshwar frankie with corn pattice and coconut Chutney. Can also be eaten only pattice.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For pattice-
  2. Sweet corn 1 cup
  3. onion 1 big
  4. ginger 1 piece
  5. Grated coconut 1 tbsp
  6. Green chillies 4 chopped
  7. few curry leaves
  8. Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  9. Zeera 1 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Oil 2 tbsp and for frying
  14. Boiled potatoes 4-5
  15. Chillie flakes 1 tbsp
  16. Corn flour 4 tbsp
  17. Salt to taste
  18. For roti-
  19. Makkai atta 1 1/2 cup
  20. Wheat atta 1 cup
  21. Zeera powder 1 tsp
  22. Salt to taste
  23. Oil 1 tbsp
  24. Water for kneading dough
  25. Green coconut chutne-
  26. 1/2 cup grated Coconut
  27. 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  28. Green chillies 6
  29. Salt
  30. Garlic 2
  31. Oil 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. For green coconut chutney- Mix all ingredients and grind it into a paste.
  2. For franki roti- Add all the ingredients in mixing bowl and form a soft dough.
  3. Roll the dough in small rotis and roast them on gas and keep them aside.
  4. For corn pattice- Boil the potatoes and mash them nicely add in salt chilli flakes and corn flour and mix it with hand.
  5. Boil the corn with little salt and keep aside.
  6. In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil one by one add all the ingredients and cook them and then add the boil corn and mix it.
  7. Now take the mash potatoe squeez it with your palms then add the filling and cover it. Do it as you stuff Paratha.
  8. Heat oil for deep frying and fry the pattice. Until golden brown.
  9. Now take the roti on the gas put corn Pattice and break it then put the chutney on it.
  10. Roll it like a Frankie.
  11. Do the same with every patti.
  12. And serve.
