Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  3. oil for deep fry, tooth picks
  4. Grated cheese - 1/4 th cup
  5. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Rad chilli powder - 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Chopped tomatoes - 2

Instructions

  1. Heat a kadhai with some oil. Add the mustard seeds and once they splutter, add the chopped tomatoes. Then add the powdered masalas and salt, cook till the masala leaves oil. Add the cooked rice, mix and keep aside.
  2. Now knead a dough using the wheat flour, little salt, oil and water. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Now roll out the dough and cut roundels using a cookie cutter. Apart from roundels, cut some petals shapes as well.
  3. Now, take a roundel, put the cooked tomato rice mixture, top it with grated cheese, apply some water on the ends, cover with another roundel of dough and seal it. Now with the help of tooth picks, attach the petal to the roundels. Deep fry them in oil, remove the tooth picks and serve.

The recipe is nice but please refrain from writing hindi in english letters, else please use the hindi app for betterbutter which is available as well.
