Ingredients to make Bangali fish curry with curd and mustard.

  • Fish,anyfish,1/2 kg
  • salt & turmetic.
  • For Grinding
  • tomato 1
  • onion 1
  • mustard 2tsp
  • For frying
  • Whole garam masala 1tsp ( cardamom, cinnamon,bay leaf,)
  • jeera 1/4 tsp
  • green chillies 3
  • ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • masala powders
  • chilli Powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1tsp
  • salt
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • salt
  • oil
  • curd 1 1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves 3 tbsp

How to make Bangali fish curry with curd and mustard.

  1. Marinate with with some salt and; turmeric. keep for 10 min. Heat pan & fry the fish,till half done. Remove and keep aside
  2. Grind together,onion,tomato and mustard seeds.
  3. Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan ,add whole garam masala,fry for a few sec. Then add ginger garlic paste,fry,then put green chillies.
  4. Next pour the ground inion,tomato paste,,along with a masalas,coriander ,chilli powders,garam masala,salt and turmeric. Stir well. Then cover the pan, cook for about 10 min,till oil separates.
  5. Then add fried fish pieces,cover it with masala leave it for a few min.then add 1 cup of water ,stir well.cover and cook till fish is done.
  6. Then add well beaten curd and coriander leaves. Simmer for a few min. Without curdling. Remove
  7. Serve hot

My Tip:

Better use big fish to get good taste.
