Bombay duck (bombil) Curry, with the usage of very few ingredients but very tasty dish

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bombil fresh wash and cleaned 8 to 10 pcs
  2. Fresh coconut greated 1/2 cup
  3. Coriender seeds 2 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  5. Garlic cloves 7 to 8
  6. Ginger 2 inches
  7. Green chillies 5 to 6
  8. Coriender leaves 3 tbsp
  9. Onion slices 1 small
  10. Dry mango ( kokum) 3 to 4
  11. oil 2 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Wash the bombil cut it in 3 psc
  2. Now take all ingredients to make a smooth paste add water as required
  3. smooth paste
  4. Now take vassel add oil saute grinned paste until the start leaving aroma
  5. Saute for 7 to 8 to cook on medium flame
  6. Now add hot water in masalas mix well then add kokum and adjust to salt to taste, boil for 3 to 4 min
  7. Now add bombil psc in gravy and cover lid for 3 to 4 min only do not over cook bombil
  8. Switch off the flame remove from gas
  9. Serve with hot curry with ukada rice , chapati and rice bhakri
