Ingredients to make Coconut Ladoo

  • 250gm Fresh Grated coconut
  • 100ml Fresh milk
  • 150gm sugar
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 5 nos cashews chopped
  • 5 nos almonds Chopped
  • 3 Crushed cardamom

How to make Coconut Ladoo

  1. In a heavy non stick pan, add fresh grated coconut, milk and sugar.
  2. Cook over low flame mixing it continuously for about 10 -15 minutes.
  3. Stir often to avoid getting burnt.
  4. Cook till the mixture gets thicken and in one partiular stage the moisture will evaporate completely.
  5. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from flame.
  6. In an another pan, pour 1 tsp of ghee and roast the chopped cashews and almonds and crushed cardamom.
  7. Add the roasted nuts to the mixture and mix well.
  8. Let it cool down for about 5-10 minutes. Once cooled down make small balls by grease your hand with ghee.
  9. Store the ladoos in air tight jar and enjoy the sweet for 2 -3 days.
